毘沙門天 – BISHAMONTEN Jeans –

In 2009, BISHAMONTEN Jeans was born in honor of local hero Uesugi Kenshin, who likened the era of the apparel industry to the turbulent Sengoku period. The back label features the character “毘” from Bishamonten, the deity worshipped by Uesugi Kenshin, and the back pocket features stitching that resembles a sword, expressing the spirit of pioneering a new era.

The denim material is custom-made in-house, and the warp threads are dyed with natural indigo rope, and the weft threads are also carefully crafted with time and effort. As a finishing touch, the jeans are soaked in Myoko underground water and dried in the sun one by one, resulting in a deeper indigo color and a supple feel. The silhouettes are also constantly evolving, with the classics being refined.

The deeper the texture of the natural indigo, the firm feel of denim, and the exquisite fit become more enjoyable the more you wear them.
