This time, a denim jacket made from the globally rare Royal Purple Denim has arrived. In an era of underdeveloped technology, producing purple dye was extremely costly, making purple a universally recognized color of nobility across cultures and time. We have specially created a Royal Purple Denim using natural indigo blue for the warp and, surprisingly, purple for the weft, which are similar colors. The style is based on the 2nd type, the most popular denim jacket style. While maintaining a short boxy silhouette, we have refined the armholes and slightly lengthened the body for a modern modification. From this version onward, the cuffs will also feature purple selvedge. This jacket can be worn throughout the year! The finishing touch is provided by the snow bleaching process from Myoko. |
